Rakaille Company GmbH supports brands, companies, associations and organizations in the development, production and finishing of individual textiles.

Since our founding in 2009, we have been exploring how to transform an initial idea into a clearly defined and producible textile. We combine product understanding, technical coordination, and diverse production options to create a solution tailored to each project.

From our headquarters in Osnabrück, we oversee both the finishing of selected blank textiles and the development of custom-made clothing. Depending on the product, quantity, and desired level of customization, the finishing takes place in Germany, or production in Portugal or Turkey.

ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT

SINCE 2009 IN THE TEXTILE SECTOR

Rakaille Company GmbH was founded in Osnabrück in 2009. Since then, we have been realizing textile projects with diverse requirements – from finished T-shirts, hoodies, jackets and caps to individually developed garments and cohesive collections.

The focus is not solely on which textile is to be produced or finished. Equally important are the intended use, the target group, the desired fit, the material, the quantity, and the type of branding.

Our task is to capture these requirements, structure them effectively, and translate them into a feasible product specification. Based on this, material, cut, color, finish, branding elements, and production process can be coordinated.

Today, two clearly distinct production routes are available: the finishing of selected blank textiles in Germany and the individual production of clothing in Portugal or Turkey. This allows for the implementation of projects based on existing products as well as completely newly developed textiles.

Managing Director Jens Stenzel is the central contact person for Rakaille Company GmbH. From Osnabrück, inquiries are categorized, product requirements are structured, and the next steps are coordinated with the respective production and finishing partners.

Managing a textile project involves several areas of responsibility. These include, in particular:

• Initial consultation and recording of project requirements

• Coordination of branding, finishing and brand elements
• Sample review and preparation for product release
• Transfer of the agreed specification to series production or finishing

Depending on the project, the necessary specialist and production partners are involved. This keeps communication centralized on the customer side, while the technical requirements are handled where the appropriate production or finishing expertise is available.

Not all details need to be finalized during the initial contact. Sketches, mockups, tech packs, dimension tables, or reference products can be incorporated into the discussions.

It is crucial that the product type, intended use, planned quantity and desired effect can be described in a comprehensible manner.

A textile project can begin in very different ways. Some clients already have a complete tech pack, a size chart, and finished design specifications. Others come to us with a sketch, a mockup, a reference product, or an initial product idea.

Together, the key product details are then categorized:

• Cut, fit and measurements
• Material and grammage
• Fabric and printing inks
• Sizes and size distribution
• Printing, embroidery or other finishing touches
• Neck labels, care labels and hem labels
• Hangtags, patches and packaging
• Production location and technical feasibility

BLANK TEXTILES
WITH FINISH

If an existing textile already meets the desired fit, material quality and color, it can be customized with a logo, motif, lettering or brand label.

The selected blank textiles come from German and European warehouses and are subsequently finished in Germany. Depending on the material, design, number of colors, and quantity, options include screen printing, embroidery, DTF or DTG digital printing, woven labels, or patches.

This production method is possible from 50 pieces and is suitable for corporate fashion, employee clothing, merchandise, club clothing and events, among other things.

INDIVIDUAL TEXTILE PRODUCTION

If not only the branding, but the entire garment is to be created according to your own specifications, then individual production is the appropriate way.

The cut, fit, dimensions, material, weight, fabric color, size distribution, and features can all be defined on a project-specific basis. Neck labels, care labels, hangtags, patches, closure details, and packaging can also be incorporated into the development process, depending on the product.

Custom production runs are handled in Portugal or Turkey starting from 100 pieces per item, color, and finish. Sizes can be divided within the total quantity to suit your needs.

1. UNDERSTAND THE PRODUCT IDEA

First, we clarify what type of textile is to be created, who it is intended for, and which properties are particularly important. Existing sketches, mockups, tech packs, size charts, or reference products can be directly incorporated.

2. CHECK FEASIBILITY

We check the product type, quantity, material, cut, color, branding, and finishing. At the same time, we determine whether a blank textile or a custom-made product is suitable for the project.

3. VOTE ON PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

The relevant details are defined in a structured manner. These can include dimensions, sizes, material, grammage, fabric color, labels, print data, embroidery data, and packaging.

4. CHECK SAMPLE AND PRODUCT DETAILS

For custom productions, a PPS (Pre Production Sample) is created before series production begins. This pre-production sample allows for the testing and final approval of material, fit, workmanship, color, finishing, and branding elements.

5. PREPARE FOR SERIES PRODUCTION

After the agreed-upon approval, series production or finishing is prepared and implemented based on the defined product specifications.

Quality arises from clear testing procedures

Quality in custom textiles is not a universal characteristic. It arises from defining and coordinating the requirements for material, cut, dimensions, color, workmanship, finishing, and branding as clearly as possible before mass production.

Therefore, project support is based on verifiable checkpoints:

• Requirements and intended use are recorded at the beginning.
• The production method is chosen based on the product, quantity, and degree of customization.
• Product details are compiled into a reliable specification.
• For custom productions, samples can be evaluated before series production begins.
• Fit, material, workmanship, color, finishing and branding elements are coordinated during the sample and approval phase.
• Series production or finishing begins based on the approved requirements.

EACH PRODUCT IS CONSIDERED IN RELATION TO THE PROJECT

T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, trousers, knitwear, socks and sportswear differ significantly in material, construction, workmanship and production logic. Therefore, we do not treat each product group according to the same scheme.

The decision between Portugal and Turkey is not made in general terms. Factors considered include the product group and design, desired material, cut and finish, planned quantity, degree of customization, finishing, branding elements, technical requirements, as well as budget and project scope.

Not every process is suitable for every material, and not every production method is suitable for every product. The crucial factor is which production method offers a sensible and technically feasible basis for the specific project.

MATERIALS AND RESPONSIBILITY

Sustainability must be considered specifically in relation to each product and production process. Depending on the project, certified organic cotton, recycled materials, and other suitable fabric qualities can be used, among other things.

The materials, certifications, and finishing processes available depend on the product type, quantity, production location, and technical requirements. Water-based screen printing, customized care labels, and various packaging solutions can also be part of a project.

Our goal is to comprehensibly classify the available options and develop a solution that fits the product and the requirements of the respective brand or company.

Rakaille Company combines project coordination at its headquarters in Osnabrück with various production and finishing options. The location and partner involved depend not only on the country, but also on the product group, design, material, quantity, degree of customization, and required process.

OSNABRÜCK: Here, inquiries are received, requirements are structured, and project-related coordination is managed.

GERMANY: Selected blank textiles are sourced from German and European warehouses and finished in Germany according to customer specifications.

PORTUGAL AND TURKEY: Custom-designed clothing is produced in Portugal or Turkey, depending on the product and requirements. Cut, material, weight, colors, sizes, and branding elements are determined on a project-specific basis.

Selection within the production network is based on the specific product specifications. This allows both finished blank textiles and completely custom-designed garments and collections to be implemented through a centrally coordinated project process.
