Sublimation printing | T-shirt printing (sublimated)
In this successful T-shirt production, the shirt pieces were pre-printed using sublimation printing. More precisely, this means that all the T-shirt pieces were first cut to size. After cutting, all the T-shirt pieces were sublimated, i.e., printed all over. The size of the print design was adjusted to the respective T-shirt size. This ensured that the sublimation print looked good on all garment sizes and that the print wasn't significantly larger on a size S than on a size XXL. Only in the final step were all the pieces assembled and the T-shirt sewn together.
The sublimation printing process
Sublimation printing on T-shirts offers the advantage of allowing for color gradients, all-over prints, and prints that extend across seams. It's not an off-the-rack T-shirt print, but rather a truly custom-made design, 100% tailored to the customer's specifications. Sublimation printing provides a great deal of freedom in the design of logos and other artwork.
